Probably the most recognised cocktail across the world... The Margarita.

Its also very versatile as there are hundreds of different spin offs. Theres a Mexican restaurant in New Zealand called "Miss Ritas Cantina" with 5 "classic" Margs and also a frozen option with 6 different flavours and if you cant decide you can mix them.

A massive part of the flavour comes down to how its shaken. I’ve had margaritas come back to the bar and when I ask the bartender how long it was shaken for they say a few seconds... They're lucky they didn't wear it.
It needs a good 30 second shake to really combine the flavours.

The original recipe for a margarita calls for 2 parts Tequila, 1 part Orange liqueur and 1 part Lime juice. However I’ve trailed a few different recipes and I’ve found that most people respond to this one the best. Its definitely sweeter than the OG so feel free to add some extra lime or take out the sugar and find your favourite mix.
