Pornstar Martini Mocktail

Prep time: 5

Ingredients: 

75ml Passionfruit pulp

45ml apple juice

30ml sugar syrup

Method: 

Add the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice.

Shake well.

Strain into a Coupette.

Optional:

To the left I meantioned that I created this recipe originally with a very nice passionfruit cordial.

The original ingredients were: 30ml Passionfruit Cordial

60ml Passionfruit pulp

45ml apple juice

15ml sugar syrup

So if you have or are able to find a good passionfruit cordial the second recipe is another great option.

With the sales of non alcoholic beverages rising and the demand for them in the bar I created a few mocktails to fill the need. It was a project I wasn't entirely fond of as the search for non alcoholic substitutes with my limited resources was difficult. However the benefit of not having to actually "waste" spirits in my search was comforting.

I trialed for a while with the ingredients i had on hand and was happy with a recipe. within a few days of that a young lady approached me in the bar and explained she was a rep for a company and gave me a few products to test. One of which was a bottle of passionfruit cordial. I was hooked and tried it with the mocktail immediately. It was perfect. I changed the recipe for the bartenders ordered a box of the cordial and a few months went by.

When I went to try and reorder the cordial I had to wait for weeks and weeks and eventually I found out that they had discontinued the product, to this day the company has gone bankrupted and fired all its employees. Shame.
